Freedom To Be Me With Gratitude
Date:2007-06-29I am 60 years old--almost! I want to tell the World that I am grateful for the Freedom to be Me! Of course, I am not conscious of this freedom and gratitude all the time. I wish I was! Six months ago, my Dad chastised me for the umpteenth time for retiring from Wall St. Actually, he could not quite believe I left and donated all my money, and freely gave my time and energy to create an international foundation with a presence at the United Nations. I even became a financial benefactor, sending a number of international students to universities worldwide. Some members of my family were not too proud of these decisions. Money can be a funny and unpredictable energy! And it is really just another form of exchange, like love...But that is another topic for another day!
The evening of 9/11, after a traumatic escape from death that morning, I decided to 'stop making excuses' and begin the work that I was born to do. There's that word 'birth' again and it is probably not too much of a stretch to pair it with prenatal as well! The preconception period for my real work has taken 55 years! The birth is just now happening. The Freedom to be Me, and to keep re-inventing Amy, and to take many more paths within this incredible Life Journey! THIS birth is FUN!!! As a matter of fact, if it is not fun, I am not doing it. I will take another path. I am grateful for this Birth and the Freedom to be Me!
Amy is in the process of re-inventing herself for the umpteenth time. During the past 25 years, she has been a successful financial executive, president and founder of an international foundation and a director of an NGO which focuses on prenatal/perinatal education. Her passion is teaching prenatal yoga. Her favorite times are playing and laughing with the kids--all cultures and nationalities worldwide! http://www.idealsociety.org
